Itinerary

Day 1: Osh City – Sary-Mogol 

 

Morning or midday departure to Sary-Mogol from Osh. Enjoying the magnificent views of the Kyrgyz mountains, driving through the Alay mountains and valley. Arrival at Sary-Mogol, settling at the guesthouse, walking around the village, dinner, and overnight.

Day 2: Sary-Mogol – Tulparkol Lake

 
Have your breakfast and mount your horses as you head to the Tulpar-Kol Lake. You will ride through a broad valley in the reflection of the titanic, snow-covered Pamir-Alay mountains. Stop for lunch at the shepherd’s. 
Arrive at the yurt camp at around 16:00. Have your tea-break and relax for a few hours before heading for an hour walk around the lakes during sunset. Have your dinner and rest at the yurt camp.

Day 3: Tulpar-kol Lake – foothills of the Lenin Peak – Tulpar Kol Lake

 
Embark on a journey through the most popular route, covering a total distance of 14 km (round trip, around 6–7 hours). It starts at the Achyk-Tash area, where you’ll cross a pedestrian bridge and immediately ascend into a picturesque gorge. The trail gradually leads to the Base Camp of climbers conquering the Lenin Peak. It is a vibrant area, featuring colorful tent camps and traditional yurts. You’ll see climbers preparing to storm the peak, adding an adventurous atmosphere to the trek.

After the Base Camp, the route will lead you to the Onion Glade, a stunning open area offering breathtaking views of icy, snow-covered peaks and the roaring Achyk-Tash River. It’s a perfect spot for photoshoots and a brief rest, blending into the incredible mountain scenery.

If you’re feeling energetic and eager to explore further, we’ll proceed to the Travelers’ Pass. However, if you prefer a shorter ride or feel ready to return, we can turn back from the Onion Glade.

Day 4: Tulparkol – Tuyuk Canyon – Sary-Mogol

Today, you ride along the breathtaking scenery of the Tuyk canyon towards another yurt camp. Situated just 5 kilometers from Tulpar Kol, this camp offers a stunning view of natural pasture against the backdrop of the snow-capped peaks of Estonia (6,202 m) and Peak Latvia (6,134 m). You will witness the armies of livestock grazing at pastures and local nomads living in their yurts and huts. Enjoy your lunch in the yurt before heading further to Sary-Mogol. 

End of tour. Stay in Sary-Mogol or return to Osh.
