Itinerary

Day 1: Osh to Arslanbob via historic Uzgen

Start your journey with a morning departure to Arslanbob. Stop by the historic site of Uzgen to see the sophisticated architectural legacy of the XI-XII-century minaret and mausoleums. During the next stop, enjoy lunch at the people’s place at Jalalabad roundabout cafe (drivers know it well). Observe the changing scenery of the Fergana Valley while digesting your lunch for the rest of the ride. Check into the guesthouse upon arrival in Arslanbob. Enjoy your free time until dinner by walking around the village or consider visiting the walnut oil mill (optional). Have dinner and rest well before diving into the main part of your trip.

Day 2: Arslanbob – Osh

Here begins the apogee of your journey as you head toward the first waterfall, with the stoic name “Small Waterfall” (25 meters high). You will also visit the “Forty Angels” cave to hear local legends about the shrine. It gets more interesting as you are about to walk to Panorama Hill and witness the epic views over the Arslanbob village and the towering mountains surrounding it. The hike continues as you will conquer the distance towards the “Big Waterfall” through the fairy-tale-like walnut forest. At the waterfall, you will enjoy well-deserved juicy shashlyk (kebab on skewers) for lunch. It is not over; your return to Arslanbob won’t disappoint you with more photogenic scenery. Return to Osh with an abundance of impressions and memories.
